1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) by websites and web applications you visit. They are widely used to make websites function efficiently and to provide reporting information.
In addition to traditional cookies, QuickMenu may also use similar technologies including:
- Local Storage: A browser feature that allows websites to store data locally on your device, persisting beyond a single session.
- Session Storage: Similar to local storage but cleared when your browser session ends.
- Mobile App Storage: The QuickMenu app uses
SharedPreferences(Android) andNSUserDefaults(iOS) to store preferences locally on your device.
2. Cookies We Use
The table below lists all cookies and local storage keys used by QuickMenu, grouped by type:
3. Essential Cookies
Essential cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to function. Without these cookies, features like staying logged in to the owner dashboard would not work.
4. Preference Cookies
Preference cookies remember your settings to provide a personalized experience. They do not track you across other websites.
To clear preference cookies: in a browser, clear site data for getquickmenu.com. On mobile, clear app data via device settings.
5. Analytics Cookies
QuickMenu uses Firebase Analytics (by Google) to understand how restaurant owners and customers interact with the platform. This helps us identify features to improve and bugs to fix.
What analytics collects
- App version, platform (Android/iOS), and general device type
- Country and language settings (not precise GPS location)
- Which screens and features are used, and how often
- App crash reports and performance metrics
What analytics does NOT collect
- Your name, email address, or phone number
- The content of your menu items, orders, or customer data
- Payment information
- Precise GPS location
Firebase Analytics data is processed by Google under their Firebase Privacy Policy.
